Technology JPA, BEST NET/CECC Consortiums

Technology Joint Powers Authority (JPA), Business-Personnel Educational Software Technology and Network (BEST NET) and California Educational Computer Consortium (CECC) provides local, regional and state-wide services to employees of the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools, districts within San Bernardino County and partner counties throughout the state of California. Our core purpose is to provide these services using the latest, proven technologies that will bring the maximum benefit to districts and students. Specifically, Technology JPA, BEST NET/CECC is responsible for:

• Countywide and regional network and administrative software services development and support through the BEST NET Consortium. This includes state-of-the-art systems for Internet services compliant with the Children’s Internet Protection Act, email and security systems and human resources, budget, finance and payroll systems.
• State-wide administrative software services through the CECC.
