Organization Management System
The Organization Management System (OMS) is an online registration and reporting system designed and utilized by educational agencies throughout California. The OMS provides an easy way to monitor accountability for services provided to parents, teachers, administrators, and classified staff.
End-users create and manage events that are automatically posted to their organization's OMS professional development calendar. They have the ability to align their events to local goals and objectives (e.g. LCAP, grants) for reporting purposes. The OMS provides the ability to easily track and manage participant registrations, payments, attendance, send event reminders, and generate statistical reports.
The OMS also provides the opportunity for teachers, administrators and other school staff to track their professional development hours through personal OMS accounts. School districts have the option to require all staff to have an OMS account for consistent registration data, notifications and reports.
The OMS is a hosted web database subscription service. There is no site software to install, manage or update. Technical support is provided via telephone, email, webinars, and online help documentation. Public professional development calendars are customized to the organization's color theme and logo. Each calendar has a unique domain URL that may be embedded on the organization's web pages.
