Literacy Assemblies

San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools offers support to San Bernardino County schools who have PTAs interested in hosting a literacy-related school event or assembly at their school site.

This support is a countywide effort to promote literacy through a partnership with SBCSS and San Bernardino County Vision2READ initiative. School sites are eligible to receive up to $1,000 toward a literacy-related school event/assembly.

Applications must be received no later than two months prior to the proposed assembly date to be considered for approval. Funds are distributed on a first come, first served basis depending on total funding available. Applications should be submitted to carrie.tabera@sbcss.net.
