Student Services
Myrlene Pierre, Assistant Superintendent
Student Services provides educational services to approximately 8,000 students in three specialized programs; State Preschool, Special Education and Alternative Education. Student Services employs over 1,300 employees, including more than 300 teachers, nearly 800 paraeducators, as well as speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, counselors, psychologists, principals, and other management and clerical support staff. Student Services takes pride in providing outstanding services to students, families and the districts they serve.
Alternative Education
Alternative Education provides learning opportunities for students referred by their local school districts or whom the courts have adjudicated.
State Preschool
A three-hour preschool educational program offered daily in 17 school districts at 34 school sites, providing students 180 days of services.
Special Education
Special Education includes a wide range of services to meet the needs of students and their families from birth through 22 years of age.
Counseling Center
Offering school-based counseling services to San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools enrolled students and their families.
