San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools office employs more than 2,400 full and part time staff, of diverse ethnicity, who have a personal stake in making a difference for each and every student in San Bernardino County.

Employees make up three main employment groups—management, confidential, classified non-management, and certificated non-management.

All classifications, with the exception of management and confidential, are represented by one of three associations—the California School Employees Association, Teamsters Local 1932 or the San Bernardino County Teachers Association, an affiliate of the California Teachers Association and the National Education Association.
