Inspiration

County Superintendent Ted Alejandre issues this monthly publication to keep education partners informed about the many services and programs SBCSS provides to our learning community throughout the year.

A man in a suit smiles and greets a group of children around computers in a classroom. Other adults and students are present in the background.

Whether through a conference, a community-led campus or a single voice, we remain committed to supporting the whole child. The work of teachers, counselors, families and partners ensure no student goes unseen. When our students are well, safe, seen -- and heard -- learning follows and leads our students down a path towards their full potential. And that’s how we continue transforming lives through education.

As we begin a new school year, we are reminded of just how important a strong start can be. Whether we are preparing our youngest learners for the start of their school journey, engaging families as partners in education, or ensuring all students, no matter their circumstances, have the tools they need to succeed, we're building a foundation that ensures every student can step confidently into their first day of school
