Risk Management Services is dedicated to ensuring a safe, secure and effective learning environments for students, staff and community by providing a high-quality level of service while maintaining strong relationships with first responders. 

To ensure a high level of sa fety throughout our school sites, campuses and buildings, Risk Management Services is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining all safety plans and emergency readiness policies and procedures. In addition, Risk Management Services ensures state and federal laws are being fulfilled under the SB 187 Safety Plans.

Risk Management Services offers resources and training to county schools and school districts on topics such as disasters, active shooter scenarios, lockdowns, and hazardous conditions. This is done in collaboration with state and local agencies, as well as community partners, to develop innovative frameworks for school safety preparedness across the county.
