Emergency Procedures
Earthquake
Students and staff will drop, cover, and hold on until the shaking stops. Depending on the severity of the earthquake, evacuation of buildings may be required.
Fire
Students and staff will evacuate the building in an orderly and supervised manner.
Lockdown
When there is an imminent threat, staff should secure the facility by closing and locking doors and windows. No entry or exit will be permitted until an all-clear is issued. Turn off lights and move students to a secure area within the classroom or building.
Medical Emergency
Staff will call 911 immediately if an injury is life-threatening or determined to be serious.
