5114 - Attendance Accounting
Every teacher shall maintain an attendance record in accordance with instructions given in the Attendance Document. Any questions regarding the procedure should be submitted to the teacher’s immediate supervisor. The principal or regional manager is responsible for a monthly check of each attendance document to ensure accuracy. The principal or regional manager shall indicate approval by signing the attendance document.
Special Education
A report of attendance, including the correct district of residence and age of each pupil, shall be transmitted to the principal at the close of each school month on the date specified, or before, on the appropriate forms provided to the teacher.
Other reports, such as CBEDS reports on enrollment or attendance, which may be required during the school year, shall be submitted by the teacher to his/her supervisor on the day specified by the supervisor.
Alternative Education
A report of regular attendance and independent study, when appropriate, shall be transmitted to the principal at the close of each school month, on or before the date specified on the appropriate forms provided to the teacher.
