4331 - Attending Classes

Management employees may be allowed to enroll in a class for a maximum of two hours per week during the workday.

Such classes must be formal course work at an approved college or university and must provide substantial assistance to the management employee in his/her job assignment. Course work taken in accordance with this section must be approved in writing by the immediate supervisor prior to the first class meeting.

No materials, supplies or office equipment may be utilized to complete any requirements for formal course work taken under this section.
