4313.3 - Promotion - Management

A promotion is the appointment of an employee from one classification to a classification having a higher base salary range in accordance with the Superintendent's Policy 4350.

Normally, management employees shall be placed on Step A of the higher classification. Such placement shall grant a minimum 5% increase, otherwise the management employee shall be placed at the next higher step·.

Subsequent salary step advancements for managers will be given for management experience on July I of each year.
