4161.81, 4261.81, 4361.81 - Blood Donations

Employees of the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools may be granted up to two hours leave to donate blood, with prior approval of the immediate supervisor. Teachers will not be released for blood donations during the normal student day. Other employees will not be released during peak work periods or at times that will disrupt the normal work schedule. A receipt from the Blood Bank must be provided for the employee’s supervisor.
