4117.3, 4217.3, 4317.3 - Reinstatement Or Reemployment

Any permanent employee of the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools who voluntarily resigns from their permanent position may be reinstated or reemployed by the Superintendent, within 39 months after his/her last day of paid service, to his/her former classification as a permanent employee.

If the County Superintendent elects to reinstate or reemploy a person as a permanent employee, he shall disregard the break in service and restore all of the rights, benefits and burdens of a permanent employee in the classification to which he/she is reinstated or reemployed.
