4112.8, 4212.8, 4312.8 - Nepotism - Employment/Supervision of Personnel

No person shall be denied the opportunity for employment because such person is related to any other person presently employed by the County Superintendent of Schools Office.

In no instance, however, shall a County Superintendent of Schools employee exercise direct supervision (evaluation) over, or initiate or participate in decisions involving a specific direct individual benefit (initial employment, retention, promotion, work assignments, etc.), to another staff member who is related within the first degree of consanguinity, whether by blood, marriage, or cohabitation.
