4012.2 - Unemployment Insurance
The County Superintendent of Schools is responsible for establishing, coordinating, and maintaining; an unemployment insurance (U.I.) management system for each school district as an employer participating in the School Employees Fund as authorized by law.
The system goal is to minimize U.I. costs generated when unemployment insurance benefits are paid. Components of the system include general administration, claim management, case preparation and appeals processing.
