3590 - Facilities Construction

The Office of the County Superintendent of Schools shall identify future staff and student housing needs through a Five-Year Master Plan. This plan shall be reviewed and updated annually. The plan will identify facilities needs to meet the housing requirements of staff and students in the County Superintendent’s programs. The plan will identify existing building requirements for renovation and new construction through the use of State School Construction building funds. In addition, the plan will identify additional funding sources where applicable.

Facilities will be renovated and constructed in accordance with the California Education Code, Public Contract Code, and applicable state and local rules and regulations.
