3312.1 - State Allocation Board Contracts - Procedure
Pursuant to Education Code 17076.11 any school district using funds allocated from the Leroy F. Greene School Facilities Act of 1998 for the construction or modernization of a school building shall have a participation goal of at least three percent (3%) of the overall dollar amount expended each year by the school district, for disabled veteran business enterprises.
To ensure fair and equal dissemination of information, disabled veteran business enterprise participation requirements shall be included in all appropriate bid documents.
Prime Bidders for construction contracts funded through the Leroy F. Greene School Facilities Act of 1998 shall:
- Certify compliance by completing and submitting at the time of bid submission the participation documentation forms included in the legal bid documents, or
- Completing and submitting at the time of bid submission a Good Faith Effort Worksheet Form.
