1312 - Complaint Procedures

The County Superintendent of Schools welcomes constructive criticism of Office policies and programs when it is motivated by a sincere desire to improve the quality of the educational process and to assist the County Superintendent of Schools Office in performing its tasks more effectively.

The County Superintendent of Schools encourages the resolution of complaints as early as effectively possible. All complaints submitted in accordance with the procedures adopted by the County Superintendent of Schools shall receive appropriate review and consideration.

Separate policies/procedures have been developed for:

  • Complaints against employees (1312.1)
  • Uniform complaint procedures concerning state/federal regulations including all categorical programs and special education (1312.3)
  • Williams Uniform Complaint Procedures (1312.4)
  • Claims and actions against the County Superintendent of Schools Office (3320)
  • Complaints of discrimination in employment (4031)
