Teacher of the Year

The California Department of Education annually sponsors the Teacher of the Year (TOY) Program as part of the California School Recognition Program, showcasing the teaching profession and recognizing educators who exemplify excellence. The TOY Program also raises public awareness of the positive aspects of our educational system. The selected California Teachers of the Year represent the diverse backgrounds of both teachers and students. San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools coordinates the TOY Program for all 33 districts within San Bernardino County to select outstanding nominees for the state level.
