Certificated Personnel Services

Certificated Personnel Services oversees various aspects of employment to ensure San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (SBCSS) is recruiting, employing and retaining highly qualified personnel who represent and nurture the culturally rich and diverse communities in the area. Certificated Personnel Services partners with each region to employ appropriate certificated staff in positions that support the various programs within SBCSS.

We improve student outcomes by offering support in areas such as compliance, education law, labor law, and collective bargaining agreements. Our team actively manages personnel matters and leads contract negotiations with the San Bernardino County Teachers’ Association. Additionally, our office provides career development opportunities and training programs to foster growth for certificated employees.
