403(b) Tax Sheltered Annuity - SchoolsFirst/National Benefits Services
SchoolsFirst and National Benefits Services (NBS) are the Third-Party Administrators that will administer the 403b Tax Sheltered Annuity (TSA) Plans for school districts within San Bernardino County. SchoolsFirst and NBS are responsible for fulfilling Internal Revenue Service requirements such as universal notification to employees, monitoring and processing employee Salary Reduction Agreements and auditing Maximum Allowable Contribution calculations. SchoolsFirst will remit employee contributions to 403(b) providers and will field employee questions and communicate with 403(b) vendors and their agents on behalf of the district and its employees. NBS will handle all compliance regarding the 403(b) plans.
